only an heeeeeeediot would assemble a motAr in a basement. Only thing worse than that is assembling a motorcycle in the basement. OH you already did that! :laugh1:

Gs-R-edline 11-30-2006 05:00 PM

Well...maybe if you were the size of a normal human...and had friends who were also a normal size.... It wouldn't be an issue......

:D

the only way to lift that lovely motor up from the basement is to install escalader on the stairs. haha

BIZL 11-30-2006 05:44 PM

how much does a b18c weigh?

clockwerk 11-30-2006 06:00 PM

its ok fuzzy, i'll carry it over my shoulder up the stairs for u...

BlueGSR 11-30-2006 06:23 PM

juss ask jaybro to carry it

JEFFOS69 11-30-2006 07:11 PM

It can be done - not with one guy though. I had to lift up this huge ass big screen (old school) with some buddies up the stairs now that was hard (because of the size and that ---- is heavy)

TwoSix 11-30-2006 07:37 PM

the motor isnt as heavy as ppl think..u obviously cant do it alone..but with help its not that big of a task

Gs-R-edline 11-30-2006 07:41 PM

^Truth.... but... Fuzzy is well....you've seen em...

James

PrincessS2K 11-30-2006 07:43 PM

Gs-R-edline 11-30-2006 07:56 PM

James

PrincessS2K 11-30-2006 09:26 PM

^^West Indian Pumpkin is different from the pumpkin you're thinking about. West Indian pumpkin is more like a squash like of veggie.

WildoutWhiteGSR 11-30-2006 09:37 PM

no worries fuzzy, the motor will never be finished anyways :finger:

FuzzyLS BRO 11-30-2006 09:48 PM

I build bikes all the time in the basement! but i do just go out the walkout basement and ride up the the front :)

Buff4Prez Yo 11-30-2006 11:59 PM

you could always use a dolly. i have one just for that purpose since just about everryone in my family have some sort of a back problem.

Vinnie Mack Yo 12-01-2006 07:24 AM

carpartts06 01-27-2007 12:54 AM

how heavy is a motor roughly?
200 to 300 lbs?

its goin to be awkurd lifting it, at work i have to carry a pipe threading machine when we work on different floors and all the weight is on 1 side so it makes it a huge pain in the ass to carry plus it weighs 150 to 200 lbs. Id say with 2 people you could easily do it. What I would do is tie a rope on each side with a strong knots 1 guy carry the 1 side of the rope and on other side of rope of the motor other guy carrys, Good luck tho.

nautica_t YO 01-27-2007 10:12 AM

lol i don't know even know how fuzzy changes rims... he can barely lift that yet alone the motor ;)

hehe messing with you fuzz.

SMOOTHE 01-27-2007 10:28 AM

fuzzy, your stairwell is half that size tho.

FuzzyLS BRO 01-27-2007 07:34 PM

yo ask jaybro, i've been hitting up the gym now. i'm huge.

Buff4Prez Yo 01-27-2007 08:36 PM

it took 4 ppl to get the motor i bought in and out of the trunk of my beater.

PrincessS2K 01-27-2007 10:38 PM

Damn way to bring back a thread from the dead.
