fuzzy did u get a ticket?
That sucks man. I know what you're saying. I went through a ride program and the same thing happened to me. Just to happens that I didn't have my new insurance slip in my car, and my license had expired a week prior which until then I had totally forgotten about.
So I got tickets for no proof of insurance and NO license, not an expired license... NO license. $405 just for that night and someone had to come and park my car for me and take me home. He wouldn't even let me keep the engine on in the middle of Feb while I waited in a freezing car. Talk about pissed off. Some cops can be asshats.

---- fuzzy u got it bad bro. Whats with the cops in sauga?? I always try to avoid sauga simply for bullshit like this. The only time i was in sauga last year with my integra i was pulled over for the same bullshit as u. although the car was stock everything, he was convinced my muffler was aftermarket and that it was too loud. He asked me the other bullshit questions like, "u have nitrous, turbo, do u street race, etc...." this was some 24 year old idiot who didnt know his *** from his face. In the end he gave me a ticket for unnecessary noise. I took it in to the JP and litteraly it took me 20sec to say wut happened and the lady dropped the charge. Even the JP said that the ticket was ridiculous
bottom line is though that cops in sauga have way too much time on their hands. cops in my area dont even bother. they are too busy with drugs, violence, and guns.
dont worry bro those are BS tickets....u will get the hook

oh and its funny how cops get all emotional when they see an integra and try to ---- over the driver by dumb ---- like this. then when ur integra gets stolen, and ur reporting it to the police, the cop doesnt know wtf an integra is. when i reported my integra stolen last year the cop on the phone says this:
cop: integra? whats that?
me: Acura Integra!
cop: never heard of it
me: are u kidding mme? they are so high on theft how do u not know what it is!

i dunno...when i first bought my integra it was pretty ricey and I got pulled over my first day by undercover cops in a silver caravan!! of all things...they said i was doin 100 km/h on dundas and swerving through traffic...yet all they gave me was a ticket for not signing the ownership
btw in mississauga....but usually there pretty nice...especially when i had my prelude they were EXTREMELY NICE... btw that was my only time being pulled over the whole year...first time i drive it...great success.

Ew that's messed up.
I've been pulled over a total of 4 times by Peel Police, 3 of them for no reason!
The first time it was for a couple of days expired sticker, dropped that.
Next it was because my lisence was in my window (my front lisence bracket broke so I put it in the window til' I bought a new one) they let me go.
Then I got pulled over on a Saturday afternoon. Was with a couple of people. The cop told us our car smelt like weed? Which I was extremely offended by. He then asked if this car was mine, I said yes of course. Then he said your too young to have this car.. I was about to tell this ------- to STFU! He was really stupid, you could tell he was fishing to find a reason to give me a ticket. After like 30 questions he let us go.
The 4th time I got pulled over was just two weeks ago almost. He asked me for lis. reg. then gave it back to me saying "you can never be to careful with these cars, have a nice day" WTF?!
F**k Peel Police
I hope it's not like this in Hamilton

man that sucks bro, completly different then hamilton, iv only ever been pulled over once randomly for a seat belt check and all he did was check my insurance and such. They dont really pay much attention unless you do something stupid.
Definatly fight those tickets though!

sorry to hear about all that unnecessary stress ..... I went through the same thing last summer, luckily I didn't gt slammed like that
long story short, got pulled over on the 401 and the cop told me that my car was too low, a danger to myself and other motorists b/c I could loose control of it.. funny thing is I raised the car 1/2 inch the weekend before .. he made me do the steering wheel thing left and right and checks for gap, he told me he could give x amountof tickets and take my car off the road and tow it away .... i'm thinking to myself "dis mudda k@#t" ... takes my info back to the cruiser, 5mins later honks the horn and calls me back to his cruiser, gives me back my stuff and says he's not giving any tickets but I have to take my car back home and get another car to use .... ra$$!! I done late fuh wok already!!!
Not to mention, he looked very annoyed that he couldn't issue tickets LOL
so I'm driving back home, to get another car, on Sheppard from VP to Markham Rd and I pass like 4 different cruisers, not one looked over at my car with any interest in how low it was .... total inconsistency, which has me totally confused how this system operates.
So here's some useful info for anyone who gets pulled over in the future.
If an officer exams your car and tells you that your cars too low or unsafe b/c of it.. he better be a licenced mechanic you can objectively give an educated statement that it's too low .... otherwise he can't make statements he can't back up or it will get dropped in court .. this is straight from an OPP officer I met who was getting his car fixed at my friends shop.

quotas for sure........
got pulled over in bramrock and the cop must have looked over every inch of my car ....too low, exhaust, check under the hood etc... and when he couldnt find anything, he noticed that one of my brake lights wasnt working. got a ticket....cop says go to court and take pics of the lights working and ticket gets dropped.
He told me he has a target to meet (quota), but at least I wont have to pay the ticket, so its a win win situation???? LOL
Bunch of Bull....
One thing thats really worked for me is as soon as I see one, I go neutral and roll (if possible) to the point where I think I wont be heard cus it seems exhaust is the first thing they hear.....

yo J i just read your rappage by the pho dem. Trust me man i know how u feel...i have gotten 6x a million tickets. Those tickets are nothing. The exhaust one is nothing, just take an old pic of your stock exhaust if you have one. put on tires take a pic to the JP. Put the license plate on and take a pic. or take an old pic to them, you are good to go. Both will have a different court date so different judges different cops. ur fine no worries .
sorry to hear bro, down in niagara region its really not that bad for this unless your speeding, I have got pulled over total of 3 times in 1.5 years same reason as you i was doing nothing wrong, he pulled me over sayin im young and in a suspicious car. anyways he asked me what i do and such and sed ok have a good nite. He said before that, you were only doin 45 i can give u a ticket for driving to slow what a moron. It was at 1 am in morning down a city road dead no traffic. Then i was at mall parking lot wit 3 friends cops came flashed lites on cars sed u got any illegal engine mods i sed no officer. I havent drove for like almost 2 years. I really dont wanna deal with this bullshit when im just going for a nice relaxing drive from work or to work. In burligton long time ago i got pulled over for plate in window, luckily i got no ticket i told the lady officer i would install 1 when i get home. sorry about the bad luck man.
Geez thats a load of bull! LoL I agree with nautica_t_Yo... Take it to the media! it's not right to stereotype all imported cars as "racers" or what no and it is definetly not right to give bs tickets when in fact there is nothing wrong with our cars. But I would say definetly do something with this!
Fuzz, beleive you me. I've defintiely had my run ins with the police for this exact type of nonsense, but I don't think I've ever had that level of harrasment so close in proximity!! I'd go to the station and ask to speak to the chief, and tell him what happened, but take the media with you, that's utter crap!!!
