Cat Treated For Smoke Inhalation Following East End Fire Tuesday August 7, 2007 CityNews.ca Staff It could have been so much worse, but fortunately the only significant work paramedics had to do following a four-alarm blaze Monday near York Mills and the DVP was treat a four-legged victim of smoke inhalation. A cat was pulled from the fire, which broke out on Valley Woods Road around 10:45pm. Crews searched for hot-spots in the townhouse unit but the flames were quickly doused. "There was fire shooting out of the upstairs windows and the downstairs windows of the basement and the main floor," said witness Grant Fountain. "We were banging on the window because we have friends that live next door making sure they were out and everyone was out. No injuries were reported by tenants or neighbours, and the rescued feline is expected to make a full recovery. The cause of the blaze and a damage estimate haven't been determined. What? we have nothing better to report on? guess not lolol........ |
Well I like hearing something like that versus hearing about all the negative stuff in the world. It's a nice change in my opinion.
