I always liked those C8's before Rota started mass producing them. They looked good on your car.

My rims have been -----d out bad since then. They went on one yellow Miata....then on a red one....now on another yellow one.

it wasn't a 2L motor, at least from what i understand. wayne did have a 2L block sitting around. it was fast as hell though, and those brakes!! i flew out of my seat when he slammed on them haha.

^naw, wayne really did have a jun port/polished head, jun stage 3 cams, jun cam gears, jun valvetrain. all i remember is when i drove it "dude, take it to 9100rpm" me: "ok" *shifts at 8K* "dude WTF! take it to 9100!" me"haha..ok" *takes it to 9100rpm....GRIND!!* me: "yo sorry dood..LOL"

but he had the stock bottom end with CTR pistons. they look pretty good when he hard parked :P !

Bottom end was blue printed and rebuilt with new bearings. Old page is still up

I do remember lining up against Dennis' (Slow R) JDM GSR with a jackson racing supercharger and putting a car on him before he mis-shifted third and shut down.

Care to post up your final dyno numbers? I want to compare your results with mine when all is said and done.

What CR were you running with the CTR pistons?

CR was always in dispute, I thought it was around 12.5:1, but different calculators showed different results.
I made 204/134
