Honestly, I can see how that would have happened. As an authority figure, it was wrong for him to use the word, but I honestly believe that what the teacher was saying is true. I sincerely doubt that the teather walked in, and point blank, said "Sit down nigga".

Regardless, I think 10 days without pay for using a racially inspired slang term is more than enough punishment, and I think that the child is being more than malicious in turning down the appology and demanding that the teacher be fired - sounds like a student who just didn't like his teacher.

Some really don't realize the gravity of the word. I know people that would of waited around for him after school and ---- his ---- up.

Especially in the states you just don't go around saying ---- like that. Whether it's nigga, honkey, chink or any such disrespectful word. It's even worse coming from a teacher.

Actually there is a huge difference, because chinese people (and other nationalities) don't go around calling each other chinks all day.

Typical. When a white person sais "Nigga" it's such a big deal, but black people call eachother "Nigga" every single day, ---- in my school they even call white people "Nigga". The teacher shouldn't of said it though no matter what, but it's only made such a big deal because omg a white person said it?

agreed. i've witnessed more chinese/asian people calling each other "niggas" than "chinks" or any other as well as hispanic people and white people. basically any group, regardless of race or ethnic background will use "nigga" amongst themselves if they like they're act ghetto/thug life. when i lived in the states, i had black customers refer to their asian boys as "niggas". maybe it's an american thing. idk.
