Ok, well.... this is my 2002 met gray SE i bought two years ago in oct. I didn't really have a lot planned for it when I bought it but after I began to really look the car over I decided to upgrade a few things. It been a ever so slow evolution and I still have lots in store. Here is a short time line up to the point I'm at right now.
The day I bought her. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 The first thing I had to change was the headlight housings, the sliver just made the front of the car look too girly. Plus I'm not really huge into chrome. So I ordered a set of black housings and 8000k H4s. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 Before: https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 After: https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 The next big thing was to get it closer to the ground. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 Due to some really old tires that came on the car my next thing to do was look for some wheels and tires. After weeks of searching I found these for sale for cheap. As mentioned above I'm not a hug fan of chrome but I couldn't pass up the amazing deal, and I could learn to deal with the TLC required to keep chrome looking good. 18x7.5 ASA JH2 on 215/40ZR18 BFGoodrich G-force KDW2 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 I met up with the owner in a walmart parking lot, I had them on the car before I left. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 Next on the list as a full tune up and I bought some focus sport performance wires from Massive. http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/u...g?t=1310960019 After: Attachment 8707 Several months go buy before I make my next purchase, SVT grille. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 Then luckily I found a focus member parting out their SVT so I jumped on a couple more things. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458181 http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...18459211_n.jpg Next on the list was to match my side markers with the head lights. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...94546629_n.jpg |

Which brings me to this last weekend.
I bought a shorty antenna. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 Then swapped out my factory air box for a cone filter to help out the oxygen getting to the motor. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 My current project on my to do list is swap in some factory fogs with a SVT lower grille. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 The back of the fog light. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 I'm still waiting on the SVT lower to come in the mail. I currently working on a way to mount the fogs so I can use the SVT lower grille then I can wire everything up. I'm also ordering fog pig tails to help make the wiring easier. Got the lower grille in on tuesday. https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1329458460 |
Re: On the back burner, Fofo sedan build.
I keep seeing this big void in the front of the engine bay. It screams for a little snail in there.

Re: On the back burner, Fofo sedan build.
Once I swap out to a DOHC it's possible. The snail builds are plentiful on the focus forums looking at 350-400hp with bolt-ons. With internals I could be looking at as high as 700hp. Fun, fun! lol
