Ok, well.... this is my 2002 met gray SE i bought two years ago in oct. I didn't really have a lot planned for it when I bought it but after I began to really look the car over I decided to upgrade a few things. It been a ever so slow evolution and I still have lots in store. Here is a short time line up to the point I'm at right now.

The day I bought her.

The first thing I had to change was the headlight housings, the sliver just made the front of the car look too girly. Plus I'm not really huge into chrome. So I ordered a set of black housings and 8000k H4s.

The next big thing was to get it closer to the ground.

Due to some really old tires that came on the car my next thing to do was look for some wheels and tires. After weeks of searching I found these for sale for cheap. As mentioned above I'm not a hug fan of chrome but I couldn't pass up the amazing deal, and I could learn to deal with the TLC required to keep chrome looking good.

I met up with the owner in a walmart parking lot, I had them on the car before I left.

Then luckily I found a focus member parting out their SVT so I jumped on a couple more things.

Which brings me to this last weekend.

I bought a shorty antenna.

Then swapped out my factory air box for a cone filter to help out the oxygen getting to the motor.

My current project on my to do list is swap in some factory fogs with a SVT lower grille.

I'm still waiting on the SVT lower to come in the mail. I currently working on a way to mount the fogs so I can use the SVT lower grille then I can wire everything up. I'm also ordering fog pig tails to help make the wiring easier.

Got the lower grille in on tuesday.

Re: On the back burner, Fofo sedan build.

I keep seeing this big void in the front of the engine bay. It screams for a little snail in there.

Re: On the back burner, Fofo sedan build.

Once I swap out to a DOHC it's possible. The snail builds are plentiful on the focus forums looking at 350-400hp with bolt-ons. With internals I could be looking at as high as 700hp. Fun, fun! lol

Got it close to being done still need to wire up the lights and adhere everything together so I'll have more progress later.

Before: Got everything gathered up.

https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

I hacked the ends of the OEM fog grille off but I left enough to give me something to work with.

https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

Then I cut the three bars out of the inside just leaving the outside frame.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

Here's what I was left with after.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

I put the lights in place so I could test fit the SVT lower and measure up my cut lines.

https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

I took some wire snippers and cut off along where I wanted the grille to meet up with the fogs.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

What I was left with.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

I test fitted again and trimmed as needed till it met up with the fogs and it fit in the grille space
properly.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

End result.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

Left over stuff.
https://www.torontointegras.ca/attac...ine=1334306118

Finished for now till I have more time.
