we've got a new option for front lips for the 92-93 bumper. Members of G2IC and the owner of JDP engineering discussed new ideas for a front lip. they ended up going with something like the 90-91 OEM lip but hangs a tad lower.

there's still love for you. JDP is working on what they call the OE2 lip which is a replica of the OEM optional lip....as far as i know and what's been said in the thread.

oh and JDP is doing a CF version of the JDM window visors.

when i saw the thread for the roof cap i thought about that, the hood and the hatch. now i see this lip, and it's pumping these thoughts back into my head.

Yea, I was thinking about the roof cap, but Ryan is alreayd making that sunroof plug for me in blue carbon kevlar... so I passed on that idea. that lip is sex tho, you have a link to that therad on g2ic?

 

the roof cap goes directly over the stock roof other than looks it has no other purpose right?

 

correct, its not strong enough to actually replace the whole roof.

Update: i'm waiting for pictures to be posted up of the OE2. John from JDP is waiting for a local to come by with their car and test fit the lip and to take pics. hopefully we should see something some time this week.

a few months back, i got a quote from them on the cf lip for the 91 bumper and you're right, its not cheap. all in all if i recall, it would of came up to around the $450 range.
didn't end up getting it cuz i knew the moment i i'd slap it on, it would get jacked just as fast!

they also referred me to a shop located somewhere in canada where they ship product to and told me to contact them so that i wouldn't get raped on shipping. it was still expensive. i forget their quoted price but ask them for the name of the company so you can save on shipping if you do end up ordering a JRP lip.

 

wel.. just got an email back from JDP.. and they decided not to make the OE optional lip for the 90-91

 

Thats a burn... he probably felt that being away from his computer lol
