ya we worked hard, think prep was about 14 hours or so, paint was about 2 or 3 but it was fun and worth it.

 

Cant wait to see the finished product. I may have another teg for you to work on suboc....mine. What does it need? Shave spoiler, fix rust the size of an inch or 2, and respray to black. Ill get back to you this weekend after I see Pauls teg.

 

just came from pauls house and saw the paint job. WOW! looks fantastic

this was a fun lil project. There are a few small things here and there that I wish turned out better but it still turned out ok. For a cheap paint job its mint.

If Pauls happy Im happy, I just hope the trim isnt a bitch to put back on, but Im almost 100% sure it will be.

 

I got my first ding already, my front bumper took a beat. Happened about a week after the paint job, pulled out of a friends driveway and bottomed out. Hate that front bumper anyways haha. I wounder whats going to happen to Pauls and when.

Its funny you say Walmart. Two summers ago thats where I got all these mysterious dings from. I went in for 10 minutes and went home to wash the car to find dings. The next week I went again and more little dings. lol.

thanks bud, it always fun and I enjoy doing it. As long as you love your ride, no matter what it is, or how shitty it is, Im down to help in anyways I can. I have a buddy that drives a golf, think its a 95 or something, things not even worth scrap metal. haha But this kid loves his ride and doesnt give a ---- what people think. Just watching him trying to make it better and better pumps me up for some reason.
I have lots of respect for anyone who loves there car and trys to improve it no matter how shitty it is.
