shot it thru the window, but i'm trying to figure out how to get the reflections from the window out of the pic. here's what i got so far...what do you guys think?

You need a circular polarizer if you want to cut the reflections when shooting through glass

one of these things eh? i'm guessing you can't use it on a lense that allready has the UV filter on it right?

Sure, you can stack filters, but you will need to see how many stops you need to compensate for with each filter you add

i found the canon 58mm cirular polarizer filter for $150 or so at henry's. one for your lense(s) might be a different size.

^yea i found one my size on the net, i may pick one up..i'm not sure yet...wayne do you have one? use it alot?
