I don't see how skipping a wednesday meet and having it on a Sunday will prove anything.

Sure, you'll get a different crowd, but it will be the same turnout.

I can't make Sundays because I have prior commitments personally, so i'm still gonna post for wednesdays for those who have been meeting up for the past three weeks or i'm not gonna bother showing at all.

Last year no one took initiative to meet up. I went to meets that were posted and went to meets out of pure tradition and no one showed. I got fed up and really never wanted to go to another meet again. It was a real **** off.

This year, however, there's initiative to meet up. Wednesdays have been the set date for the past 5 years i've been a member here.

We've always had them on Wednesday nights and it shouldn't change other than adding other days.

I say post whenever the hell you want a meet. Regardless of who shows or not and what day it is.

Hell, have a Friday night meet, who cares. It's free reign as far as i'm concerned.

 

the turnout won't be the same if we have them on both days. just believe me when i say that. what's the big deal if you miss a wednesday and can't make it sunday? you'll miss 1 meet, so what. what about the ppl that miss every meet because everyone posts them on wednesdays? don't you think that they might wanna come out and meet the same ppl that would normally show up on a wednesday? it's not the end of the world. i don't understand why i have to argue about this. all i wanna do is skip the odd wednesday and have it on sunday instead. is it really that difficult? I think some of you ppl are being selfish.

 

i'm in for a sunday meet, if there's one this weekend i'll head out.

Anyone can posts meets whenever and wherever. Wednesdays and Sundays in sucession are free game, as to my point.

And it's not about being selfish, for those who think it is. It's about availability. If no one posts for this Wednesday and I feel I want to cruise down to the meet spot and hang out with those who can make it i'm gonna post it and do it.

ok i'm really getting tired of arguing about this. if nobody can learn to compromise with the privilage of "Free reign" to post meets once a week, then I might have to take that away from them. really Nate i'm sure you can miss out on 1 meet, it's not gonna kill you and i'm sure you don't wanna ruin it for everybody. there's many ppl here that missed out on 3 meets so far because YOU "aren't available on sundays". and besides, meets were on sundays before they were on wednesdays, don't give me this tradition crap. the next meet is being moved from wednesday to Sunday, no if's, and's or but's about it. i'm sure the the 3 ppl that made out to wednesday can make it out sunday where it seems there's more members available to come out.

 

Wrong. Meets were always on wed nights, Sundays started because many of the OG's had nothing better to do on sundays so we just met up for the ---- of it.

I'm not being "****" about it. i'm trying to be a little more flexible with the meets without having more than one per week. you know as well as i do that the wednesday meets now are dead. hence why i'm trying a different day to see if the turn out is better. it may work into more ppls schedules. there's always gonna be wednesday meets but all i wanna do is skip a wednesday the odd time and have it on a sunday. it's not hard to understand at all. if someone misses either a wednesday meet or a sunday meet, it's not gonna be the end of the world, there will be more. it's like I gotta draw i picture for ppl to understand that a meet has been rescheduled for that week.

 

I dont see anything wrong with having 2 meets in one week. Whats the big deal? Some people cant make it to Sunday, some cant do the same for Wednesdays. No need to be **** about it by saying Sunday meet, no ifs ands or buts..

Its not just wed meets that are dead, its any meet on this board is dead.

exactly my point which is why i put one for sunday. the guys that can make it to both can come hang out with the guys that can't make it to wednesdays. the ppl that are available for both days or aren't available on sundays already show up on wednesdays. i'm just switching it around to make it fair for those that aren't available on wednesdays.

Dood, you're never out to a wednesday meet and therefore you don't have an idea of how big or how small the crowd is. But hey, if people think they're dead then why not abolish them all together.

Count me out for Sundays indefinately.
