Toronto Auto Show.
 

Hey guys and gals,

Was just wondering when I was coming home from work today, I was thinking it would be fun if all us Toronto Integra Members went to the autoshow as a group, it would be a fun time to discuss and have opportunties to look at new and new coming cars, (and we can always make fun of the riced up cars around the Rogers Centre)

I want to see if people are willing to and/or are interested, not 100% sure on the date but I think a Weekend day will do the best for most of us.

Porsche no longers comes to the Toronto Auto Show.

yay, they is gonna be great, well it opens on the 12th of feb which is a friday, so im thinking either the 13th or 20th both fall on a saturday or we can do it on sunday's which is the 14th and 21st, but the last day is always packed to ----. so i think we should go the first weekend.

Make an offical meet for this. get it organized. do a vote and see what day is better for everyone.

post the price any everything too.

Ill post info up tommorrow (buying tickets online saves you 5 bucks or 2 bucks depends on which site you go on ill find the one that sells tickets for 15 instead of the normal $20 you pay at the entrence.)

is it like importfest. where if you buy your ticket in advance, you dont have to wait in line

If you all want to meet up and go to the show, go for it, but it can not be an official TI meet with out going through me first, but you are all welcome to meet up and chill and do stuff.

Alright guys, put your name down. What are we gonna do about parking/driving. Are we all gonna drive downtown? If so we gotta make some plans for parking, loool. If not, we gotta park our cars somewhere and maybe bus down? Ughghghghhghgg, I hate taking the bus now.

I suggest you guys park your car at a subway terminal and sub it down.

I think it would be cooler if we drive down :D there's parking around, I know we can find some. Bus sucks!

Importfest and all the other auto shows, parking is 25$ everywhere.

its going to be awesome this is my first car showe since i have been in canada.

If you guys want we could cruise the downtown streets a bit, there's parking on Ryerson campus right along the subway line. Saturday and Sunday the rates are roughly $6 for the day. Then three stops to Union and we're there :D

Just a suggestion, in any case.

Also, for anyone who doesn't already know, here's the official information regarding the show:

February 12-21, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

Daily hours are 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM, except the last Sunday, the 21st, which finishes at 6:00 PM.

Regular adult ticket rates are $20.

There is parking right by the building on front steet just pass blue jays ways I always park there. It's underground and it is 20$ and you don't even have to go outside to get in the building will lead you right from there. I am finishing up work now. I'll get everything ready and post up all the information that we need.

OKay so like dave said the auto show is on from Feb12th till the 21st. I am looking on saying we should go on the 13th which would fall on a saturday. The date could still be change till next weekend since it falls on valentine's weekend. We will see how many people prefer either the 13th or the 20th.

I say we park at this underground parking if i remeber correctly it was 18$ but im not saying that 100%. It will most likly be 20$ for parking so car pooling is always a good answer unless everyone wants to bring there cars thats fine. This underground parking lot is big and usually not to pack the earlier obviously the better.

Im thinking we should meet up somewhere close enough but not in downtown core since there will be no where to stop or park. I was thinking maybe one of the parking lots just off of Lakeshore. Meet up there and make our way to the parking lot.

So the time would go as follows wont happen this way but lets try our best here TI'ians lol. we meet up at the parking lot just off of lakeshore at around 9:10-9:30, get to the parking let everyone park leave there heavy jackets in the car(you wont need them it's litterally maybe a 10 second cross where we will still be underground and covered) and we get to the lobby wait there if people didn't buy tickets online and have to get them from the kiosk. and since the gates dont open till 10:00 we can still wait for the straglers.


Well i hope this all turns out well and hope i see lots of people bring anyone everyone is welcome ill be bringing at least 6-7 people.

Alright guys. Another note,whos cruising downtown. I want to organize a West end cruise. As in everyone close enough to the 427. If any of you guys are close to it, theres a MCds at Goreway and Derry . Close to to the 427, we can cruise down to the gardiner and then take the downtown roads. Its gonna be hard to keep as a group once we're downtown though. Anyone down to cruise with me?

That'll probably work better for me as well, giving my boss more notice for the day off.
