i just got back, meet was a good turnout....would have been better if SOME poeple didnt bitch out. But those who didnt show probably had a good excuse why(as always). But im being serious, if you DONT think you will make it DONT post, simple as that.

I remember back in the day when i first joined this forum, i was invited to a "engine swap" day. I was ready to go and was excited. The day came and i had some problems with my car, so i texted Vida asap and told him i would keep him updated with my problem. It turned out that i couldnt make it but i told Vida through texts/calls my progress. Its a sign of respect that I would want in return. Paul's phone number is posted here and im pretty sure his PM box is free of space. Come on guys....make the effort to come, we bite lol

Sorry guys I woulda been there, my car didn't start, but I do think I managed to possibly disable the problem so it won't be a problem in the future.. gotta get my friend to come jump my car after work and test it out...

Thanks for the guys that came out. I think this spot will be a great place to meet up we got the space and the excellent lighting there and all highways come together there which is a big ++. Next time guys if you can't make it give me a call it would be nice :)

It's good that there were some who were able to attend. And, considering that there wasn't too much notice given, just a few days, it's great that you guys found a decent location to perhaps set up a regular type of meet.

We are gonna have them every Thursdays same location since major highways all come together there.

I hope to reaching them :( As i work till around 9 on thursday and by the time I get around sauga it will be around 10 or later

Yah it actually starts up faster, i can tell the difference. Stupid idle problem is still there. My guess its the IAC valve. my mechanic said he will check it out on Tuesday, hopefully he finds the problem.

What is the turnout usually like at the Eastend Meets?

The Wednesday night meets that take place are the Toronto Civics Club Weekly Meets, but many of the members are on both forums, and new people are always welcome. I believe there is generally a good turnout each week. If you're interested in the directions and information, here is the link:

(^This is just an example of the one that was held last night...but, it's basically the same each week, and posted each Monday morning.)

We are developing a plan to hold TI Meets on a fairly regular basis, and although nothing is in place at this point, there was one last Thursday, and might be another one next Thursday. Keep watching to see when the posting goes up with all the particulars listed. :)
