Hey everyone,
A few friends and I are going to head over to Cayuga Friday night (Aug 31st) for drag racing (1/4 mile). Its going to be my first time going incase anyone is wondering...so im open to tips :P

We will meetup before heading out...
Location : Sherway Gardens *the usual Wal-Mart parkinglot*
Time : Meet at 5. Leave 5:30.


Directions to track : From Toronto (Driving Time: approximately 1 ½ hours):

-Take QEW West over the Skyway Bridge
-Exit at Centennial Parkway (Hwy #20)
-Follow Hwy #20 (Hwy #20 turns into Hwy #56) until you reach Hwy #3
-Turn right on Hwy #3
-Follow through the town of Cayuga and over the Grand River Bridge
-The 2nd road on your left is Kohler Road
-Turn left on Kohler Road and follow for approximately 4 miles
-Turn left into Toronto Motorsports Park

I was told its $20 for car + driver. $10 for spectator.
I will call them tmrw and confirm.

ohh myyyy bad...this is the 1/4 mile drag racing im going to. I might do lapping next month...we shall see.

Get there early and you'll get tons of passes on the strip. Get there late and you'll be waiting in the staging lanes all night.

Bring your CAA card.

You really should try to be there when the gates open, which I believe is 6-ish.

Traffic sucks at that time of day.

 

traffic is brutal on the 403/qew at that time. it starts jamming up at about 3:30. find an alternate route like 407 to dundas st in waterdown then take brant st to lakeshore and hop on the qew niagra from there. google maps comes in real handy for this. plan a route with it.

Heyy Im back. We had a few cars come...me, NBK, NBK's bro, Maxima (V6 manual), another Maxima again V6 manual. Overall it was wicked fun and im already excited for next time.

I will post the "story" and my times up tommorow...there was a few stories haha.
