Would a tranny from a DA fit a DC?

just thinking outloud here..if i were to do the auto to manual swap in my 97 teg, would i be able to use a DA as a parts car for all the manual parts? cuz finding a DC for parts for under $500 is almost impossible. If i found a smashed up DA and used that..would i have many problems?

you could, but the DA tranny is cable for the clutch and the DC is hydro. you would need to buy a cable to hydro kit to make it work, and they are not cheap.

well if i'd be taking everything (tranny, cables etc) from the DA, and throwing it into the DC (which is auto atm)...Im guessign it would all bolt up right?

I thought the kit from hasport only worked for hydro tranny into Cable actuated car, not the other way around.
