Would a 2" Drop require Cab Kit?

i'd say about 2" is where you should start thinking about a camber kit.
My 95 civic coupe is lowered 1.8" on tokico springs and illumina's and the alignment was within honda's specifications without a camber kit.

yea u shud get a camber kit i screwed up my front tires 5 months ago and mine was lowered exactly at 2"

no. you do not need a camber kit. camber does not wear tires. get an alignment and set your toe back into spec and you won't wear tires.

FuzzyLS BRo got it right... completely slammed my GSR.. (I have dents in the strut towers from control arms)... never did a camber kit just an alightment... if you plan on needing as much traction as you can get... then think about the camber kit..

im confused... how does negative camber not effect tire wear?

you can "toe-out" in an attempt to solve the problem.. but it doesn't always work and from experience I find the tires always want to go back and point straight.


I say get a camber kit... 2 inches should produce at least negative two degrees of camber and that means wear on the tires

Also... the more negative camber you have the less straight line traction you will have. If you want to take your car tto the track, negative camber will ensure a shitty 60ft time (ppossibly the most crtical place to increase your ETs)

It does effect tire wear, but with a proper alignment, you won't notice it till your tires are on it's last legs. It's true that it's effects your tires traction with the ground.

Toe is what eats tires over a couple of months. When you get a alignment that's what they change. Even if you have a camber kit, they don't adjust it unless you tell them, which costs more money.

Wait till you see my civic,I'm an inch lower then Buff4Prez and i'm on 13"s steelies and winter 75 series rubber.

My rear camber is crazy,Tires havn't worn any either,Get a good alignment you'll be fine,BUT only to a certain point,You will eventually see wear.

mine changes depending on the season but i was pretty low in the summer.

get a camber kit i fucked up my tires good...my rear tires are really bad
