Winter Tire delema.
I have 3 Michelin Artic Alpine tires, two with about 70% tread left and one with 90% left. Since they no longer make this tire I cannot pick up a fourth matching tire. I do not plan on keeping my car for more than two more winters so I'm not interested in shelling out big $$ for tires. Do you think I would be better off to buy one new winter tire that is most similar in tread and characteristics to my current tires (such as the michelin x-ice) OR buy two cheaper winter tires so I have two pairs of matching tires?
PS if you happen to have one used Artic Alpine that you want to sell me that would be even better! |
call around to used tire shops and ask, that would be you're best bet,or ebay

2 cheaper ones - canadian tire is having a sale on winter tires right now and the nordic ice track (or something like that) is a pretty good tire.

I saw that, I could grab two of those for $160 as opposed to one of the michelin's at $130. |
