The coating on my window trim is cracking off, and it's what looks to be crome underneath... has anyone had this problem? Whats the best thing to do?

 

get new ones, I tried to paint minebut the bodyshop manager @ castle honda showed me that its not paint but it's a vinyl coat. So what you gotta do is get new or call used jap parts store if they will sell you just the trim cuz they usually come with the door and it's no good to the store without. New is about $80 per side, good luck man!

 

or you can just strip it, scuff it and paint it flat black. that's what i did on my first gen integra and it looked great.
