Window Seal

I tried searching for this and couldnt find anything, but I have a 91 LS coupe, and as you know these cars have no frame around the window. When im doing approx 100 - 120 depending on the weather i will have a really high wind noise, resulting from the window being pushed away from the seal. does every1 have this or is there any fixes for it? Its annoying as hell!

any help is much appreciated thanks :)

thats what happend when you dont have a window frame. You can try and align the window by taking off the door pannel and adjusting it. It might not be worth it depending on how annoying it is to you.

i have the same problem. try aligning it but when you take off the door panel take a look at the brackets mounted to the window one of them might be broken as it is in my case.

i have a 95 and have some wind noise too...i think thats jus the way cars where made back then...the newer cars now take more care in wind and outside noises...

thanks for the replies, ill take apart the door panel this weekend. weather permitting, Hybrid, this wind noise is like a LOUD whistle, opening the window actually quiets the noise, its just a lil too cold for that lol

if ur lazy and its just a beater, then u can get the thin strips of black foamy stuff with a sticky side; used to cover edges of tables and stuff so kids dont hurt themselves, and line it around the edges of the seal on the frame.. it will stop it.. garaunteed, and door still shuts properly.. but thats a mickey mouse mechanic fix... something ill do when its cold outside.
