Default Window motor is slowwww

Hey guys,

My '99 Integra has a lazy passengers side window motor i think. It seems to be slow going up. Just wondering if most of you have noticed this,or is a common problem....OR maybe thats just the way they have always been. I have owned a 1991 Nissan NX2000 and the power windows were a little quicker when powered up.

Since this is my first time owning an Integra, I not to sure if all teg's have slow motors or something.

Any insight would help,

Thanks,

i have the same problem but one window goes up faster than the other...maybe its a sign of a bad motor or a dead motor on the way? or maybe thats normal....

Not normal.

I had the same problem on my 2001 integra. It was the motor, and eventually, it went. So i was stuck for 2 weeks always having to pull the window up with my hands because it was hard for me to find a motor.

PS- when you do buy a motor, dont buy one from a 2001 gsr. it will work but up is down and down is up. the gsr model had a different wire setup for the motors.

the same thing with my car. Except its slow going down. It goes up perfectly fine but when going down it takes like 30 seconds before finishing... weird thing is, if the window is wet, like when its raining, theres no problem with it.
