ok i'll give you guys the whole story:
i want to put my ipod and use my psp in the car. but my deck has no aux. inputs, only a bus connector with two RCA input (bus inputs) for say a CD changer or something. so i just bought this POS for $100:
it's the sony XA-300 aux. input:

so now this is how i have it hooked up but nothing works? the deck does change on the display to "AUX" which is something i never had before i hooked up this XA-300 but there's no sound coming through?

Did you buy it used? Maybe its a brick.

Did you pay for half now and half later? Maybe the seller is witholding half of the parts you need.

Or..........

Try connecting the iPod to the "INPUT" terminals instead?

^it is used, but it should work because the deck does turn to "aux" on the display, which only happends when a bus input is connector. and no manual.

take it back and use a FM Modulator ... it will require 12V supply and switch but will sound better ... it's what I use to run PS2 for sound in my car

 

^FM modulator sucks ***** because i shaved my antenna. o_O

ok, i looked up a online manual, and it says that a MP3 player or something should go into aux.#2. like so:



i'm going to go try it to see if it works on my break in 1/2 hour. this thing is retarded.
