My mechanic has very reasonable prices for suspension installation. Give him a call: John 905-265-2132

He's located in Woodbridge.

You could probably do it, just get a torch and follow every other suspension thread. Torch away, and get those bolts off and install that suspension system!

ALOT harder than it looks bro LOL. just ask paul, ziggy and I. took us forever and we had all the right tools!

If you know the bolts are fucked, let a shop tackle them.

True, I guess I never got around to fixing my own suspension on my teg.. so I got no idea how hard they are to get out.

Seems lately everyone is tackling this...he could do it him self just drench it in anti-seize stuff for a like a week and maybe they will let go...and power tools are mandatory for this job hands tools wont cut it.

OP what year is the car and hows the underbody? Soaking the rear LCA bolts in penetrating fluid like PB blaster would help a bit. I've removed the LCA bolts in many different conditions, some twisted up, some came out of the bolt but the bushing metal sleeve was seized on and had to cut the bolt out...and unfortunately snapped a bolt on Davids integra.
Easy to do if nothing breaks. Could probably swing by and give you a hand on one of my days off.

i just took it to a shop and did it for 80 bucks..im pretty sure i couldnt have done it myself because i was watching the mechanic work on it and it was hell..thanks for the help..now the problem is the rear is lower then the front so going to adjust tomorrow

holung 07-16-2010 10:57 AM

Wow 80 bucks is cheap It took me 3 days to do my car running back and forth buying bolts and I did it at night so I always had to wait till the next day to pick up the bolts such a pain but well worth it

***Everyone doing suspension work*** Invest in an air hammer and ear+eye protection. Sit it on the collar for the bolt and the rust vibrates loose like you wouldn't believe!
