Smartass pHO 06-12-2006 10:30 AM

Cut your stock ones.

5pecial_ed 06-12-2006 10:58 AM

but if i lower first...adn then get my rims...wouldn't there be a higher chance of my new rims/tires tucking in my car...since i wouldn't knwo hwo low it would be?..but i think i'll be going with s tech...wahts the diff between s tech and h tech...what's better?

Smartass pHO 06-12-2006 11:04 AM

my car is currently stock...shoudl i lower it first...or get 17's first?

Solid GSR YO 06-12-2006 04:35 PM

Lower First, u don't need to be a 4X4

5pecial_ed 06-12-2006 04:59 PM

but ppl say that i should get my rims first and then i'll know how much to lower it...casue if i lower it first..then i'll be limited to waht i can get

JEFFOS69 06-12-2006 05:19 PM

I have H&R sport springs on stock shocks... ride is really good!

B18Booya 06-12-2006 07:40 PM

used to have neuspeed sport on my teg...have H&R sport now on my rsx... you can't go wrong with either.

5pecial_ed 06-12-2006 11:03 PM

aight...i guess i'm lowering it first..jsut scared that if i lower it with s techs...then the new rims will tuck...no?

JEFFOS69 06-12-2006 11:11 PM

Nope - S tech isnt low as well youre only getting 17's. Youll be fine.

5pecial_ed 06-13-2006 06:34 PM

aight..thansk jeff! so s tech is good right?

5pecial_ed 06-13-2006 10:31 PM

i think i'm going to go wtih s tech and 17's...will that rub guys or tha'st gonna be legal?

CdTriX 06-13-2006 11:19 PM

anyreason why you wanna go as big as 17?

my teg has s techs on and it looks fine... i have gsr blades which are 15s... but they look fine for the car...

not too low... not too bumpy..

fliptEG 06-13-2006 11:47 PM

the smaller the rims the better!

17's make the car feel slower

ac_boost 06-13-2006 11:58 PM

I believe 16's are the way to go when buying rims. Less chance of rubbing and not bumpy at all! Just remember get the 45 series tires and there will b no rubbing

5pecial_ed 06-14-2006 09:06 PM

yeah..maybe i'll go 16's...but i think i defintiley want teins s techs

5pecial_ed 06-14-2006 09:18 PM

yeah..maybe i'll go 16's...hmm...

5pecial_ed 06-18-2006 05:54 PM

anybody have any hookups on rims?

its me.. mario 06-18-2006 06:06 PM

tein springs are too high in the back..... h&r sports give a nice drop in front and back.

Just look around on the boards - tons of people are always selling wheels that fit civics/tegs. Its a very common offset/bolt pattern.

Infinity 06-18-2006 08:38 PM

17's are fine.

5pecial_ed 06-22-2006 11:18 PM

will s tech's and stock shocks be a shitty ride? like bumpy and ----? let me know.

5pecial_ed 06-26-2006 11:25 PM

what springs shoudl i get..i ahve 1.5 inches to play with

tristar95 06-26-2006 11:28 PM

i wouldnt go to low with 17's. I have the prokits 1.3 all round with 17's and its a nice safe height i think
