What engine will fit?
 

I have a 1999 Integra LS (b18b i believe), 1.8L no vtech, manual.. and I was wondering if a GS-R engine would fit? would it be just drop in, or is there any mounts or anything else that has to be done? Or what other engine would you guys recommend that would just fit in my car and hopefully give me more power? except type r as I dont wanna spend more then 2k :)


My timming belt got loose, and instead of chaning my belt i wanna get a new engine..


Also if you guys have any manual or something would be helpful..

You can get a GSR. You have to add vtec wires and plugs.

all b series engines will fit in an integra no problem

This is from Honda-tech

vtec oil pressure, iab, and knock sensor. These wires and connectors will be missing from on an ls chassis. Rywire and Hasport both make sub harnesses for this swap.
If you do go with one of those, Hasport is more expensive, but the quality is better.
