9006 for low beams, 9005 for highs

get a 35watt kit. Thats it. If you want one that comes with both it will cost a bit more.

Truth^ but some people really dont want to do a retrofit or have the know how. I saw your Retrofit, its insane man, but I have no time to do it or really care about having insane projection.

If the hid kits produced a wider beam pattern, then it might be okay.

I had trouble seeing anything past the width of the vehicle, making turns at night a nightmare. For me it was a huge safety concern.

Not to mention the huge amount of glare I produced in the back of an OPP cruiser one night. Luckily they didn't pull me over.

From what I've seen, retrofits in a DC2 are super easy.

I have HIDs in both my integra and Jeep compass... In my jeep I haven't adjusted the hight of my beam or anything, I do get flashed here and there, driven behind MANY MANY cops, and passed, went thru many rides etc and haven't had a problem... I find even if it does have scattered light, its still better than stock, you just have to be smart about how its aimed... i've had a friend get a couple tickets in his car, never had 1 in the 3 cars i've had now with HIDs, been running them for over 4 years now....

In red is a current Mustang GT with a crappy HID kit. In green is a basic OEM HID setup in terms of light ------.

Sorry I don't mean to come off like a dick. Very few halogen systems work with hid kits well. Too many do not, and unfortunately, through personal experience, DC2's do not.
Not all OEM HID systems are good. The Mazda3 and certain Audi A4's are examples.

Here are some pictures and the captions speak for themselves:

This is Patrick from Team Integra with S2000 HID Projectors (same as mine):

His output is amazing. Both his picture and mine are a bit overexposed. I'm going to try to make some changes to get close to that kind of output.

It should be fine. I have a crack in my passengers headlight. No leaks or anything.
If you havent noticed any moisture in the headlight you should be fine.

Almost purple. Its mostly blue, 12000k is when it starts to look purple.

I have 8000k, ive been behind cops, pulled over for other things, driven past cops and no cop has said anything about the lights

Its illegal to have them if they arent oem yes, but because theres so many out there that arent and that are oem theres not too much that cops can do.Unless youre blinding the cop and you have the HID's angled up....like I do
