Transmission is leaking! !

HI guy,

I recently went for a transmission oil change.. I forgot to get Mobile 1 so I used Castrol sync 10w 30 instead.. then the guy there removes the wrong bolt by accident.. he removes the bigger bolt that I heard is used for rebuilding your transmission.. so I went back and they put silicone on the bolt and tightened it back up. I wanted to know if there would be any damages to my transmission after all of this?

this doesnt make any sense.....
so you changed your tranny fluid with 10w30 oil ?
also, if he removed the 19mm that i think you might be talking about, then i dont think that guy should be anywhere near cars

Yeah. I'd get it done again. 10W30 is fine for a manual. Personally I prefer the Honda manual transmission fluid. Shifts much better than the oils I've tried. 10W30 in an auto is not a good idea. If I were you I'd take it somewhere else and get your transmission fluid changed again. If it wasn't drained properly you might have too much fluid in there or the guy could have fucked up the fill and you could have too little. Just for piece of mind.

I once went to Mr. Lube and they added oil without draining the old oil. Left there with 8 liters in the car. Thankfully I checked it first thing the next day and drained it myself before there was any damage. Man was I pissed at them.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I am driving a GSR so its manual transmission. He made a mistake wand had removed the 19mm bolt instead of the smaller one near by. So my question is, will that cause any damage? As I was told that that bolt is used mainly for rebuilding the transmission in reach to another part.
he did drain the old oil out and replaced it with Castrol Sync 10w30
