Transmission HELP
 

if you are buying a transmission from a person how can u tell if its good and in working condition?
installing it is the only way>?if there is another way plz let me know

no way to know, unless you take it apart and check all the clearances with what they should be in the helms

the easiest way to check is to drain it, and check for metal shavings and the amount that there is....color of the fluid, odour of the fluid...
