Default tire fitment issue

hey,
i just picked up some 16's for my integra but im having a bit of a problem making them fit, im lowered on koni yellows and h&r springs and im on the middle perch on the koni's. my old rims were just the stock SE 14" rims 195/55/14 i believe, and my new ones are 205/55/16, do you guys think i need to take out the wheel liner??? or do i really have to get new tires??
what do you guys think?

heres a pic to get an idea..

55's on 16's is pretty big so its gona b a tight fit specially when u hit those lil bumps on the road ur better off running 40 or 45's.
in my opinion

55's are balloons. 45's on 16's would give you an almost identical overall wheel diameter as the stock 195/60/R14

I'm not sure how much you know about tires and I don't want to insult you, if I do, I'm sorry. The second number is the "aspect ratio" of the tire. What it really is is the the percentage of the tire width that is transfered to the sidewall. For example if you do have a 205/55R16, the width of the tire is 205 mm, and the sidewall height will be 55% of that. If you take a 205/45R16 the sidewall height will be lower at 45% of that. This will decrease the overall outer diameter of the tire. In our case a 205/45R16 will have almost the same outer diameter as a 195/55R14 so you shouldn't have an issue with any rubbing. I'm not sure how familiar you are with tire sizing, so just letting you know, again sorry if I have insulted your intelligence.

theres a site if you search for it. i think in the DIY section with tire size measure to find out what will fit.
