a car i tried to tune yesterday had just a filter on the throttle body. I said try, b/c he left to drop his buddy off said he'd come back, but never did.

slvr_dc2 08-02-2008 10:16 AM

Why not just do it the safe way? Just add stickers and you should be zippin' through the city!

D C 2 08-02-2008 10:21 AM

Maximum weight reduction: Just pull out your engine and throw in some Honda Lawn Mower's engine and twin turbo it. You'll get the fastest car on the planet.

Blacktie 08-02-2008 10:36 AM

And dont forget to top up on vtec fluid Definetly get that done and maybe when your done cutting your timing belt remove one cam gear for ultimate weight savings...

DJINFERNO806 08-02-2008 09:25 PM

^only one cam gear? zomg... i believe ill remove both along with the cams

blown90b16teg@11psi 08-02-2008 09:40 PM

Solid GSR YO 08-08-2008 01:10 PM

removing rear trailing arms save weight too, the only trail behind the car so whats the use of having them

the starter doesnt do anything, the crank doesnt move at all, it just spins the cams.

Dave YO 08-12-2008 11:42 PM

if your cranks not moving you have problems pal

How do you know a valve bent did you do a compression test?

zman 08-13-2008 07:43 AM

the cams won't move if the crank isn't moving. The starter spins the flywheel, which is bolted to the crankshaft, the timing belt goes around the oil pump gear which is attached to the crankshaft and the timing belt spins the water pump and camshafts/gears.
So if the cams are moving, your crank is moving.
