Tein Type Flex HELP???
 

Hey all!

just finished installing a whole list of suspension parts for the DC and my main issue is the ride height of the car.

For all those who have adjustable coilovers (specifically the flex's if not tein's), how do you ajust the ride height on these coilovers?

I have noticed that there are 3 seat locks on the damper, two are obviously for the spring and the third seems to be for the fork mount.

Now, in the install manual, tein fails to give a reference point for ride height adjustment, but illustrates the factory vehicle stance in numerious measurements.

As the car sits with my 205/45/16 well tucked under the fender and tires rub the liners on almost every turn ( will have pics up soon :confused:)

Can someone please advise me on the easiest way to adjust the height?

Mike, the top 2 collars are just to lock the spring in place... always keep the spring pre-loaded in the same position. You adjust the height by loosening the bottom collar and spinning the entire bottom cup (fork for the back, stub in the front).
