H&R Race springs will give you 2 in the front, 1.75 in the rear.

H&R = Everyday driving
Tein =????

Nawaaz 08-27-2008 07:59 PM

my cousin has the H&R for his DA down here, and took it out for a run the other day, and it handles really good, as well as a nice ride.

thusee 08-27-2008 08:26 PM

i have tein s techs on mine but on oem struts gota upgrade the struts but it handles pretty nice even on the oem.
2 inch drop all around
this is my daily driver.
i was using 195/55/15's and the ride was pretty comfortable.
currently im switching to 205/40/16's as you can see in my sig there is about a 1 1/2 inch gap between the top of the tire and quarter panel.
45's would have been better but its good still.

i had H&R aswell on koni orange/red. found it kind of stiffer than the teins.
these pics are with the teins.

I suggest you save up a little bit more and get coilovers or the ground control coilover sleeves

h and r will not give u a good drop, i had my old db2 on 17's and i had almost 3 finger gap. if you have yellows just save up for gc's

Buff4Prez Yo 08-28-2008 04:01 AM

get the H & R Race. if you're gonna have the yellows. the Race springs would be kick ass.

Nawaaz 08-28-2008 05:19 AM

+1 on the H&R's on Yellow's

richie.. your first mistake was putting 17's on a DB2 :D... lol

richie 08-28-2008 02:02 PM

^They came with the car so I can't complain.

BIDZGSR 08-28-2008 02:52 PM

i want a fairly comfortable ride...i dont track my car... and dont want my lip scrapping the floor all the time...few fingers between the wheel and fender is pretty much wat id go for...

also if anyone knows where i can get a good set of springs for cheaap

let me know... need em asap!

thank you!

I'd say go H&R Sport on Koni yellows, by the way Koni yellows aka Koni Sport have "spring perches" that you can adjust before you install the spring that give you an added lower .25" or so.

The H&R Sports should be 1.75" in the front anyway, the H&R Race is 2" in the front but much stiffer than H&R Sports, and the Tein S Tech(green) 2.5" in the front a little bit stiffer than H&R Sports, Tein High Tech(bronze) 1.7" front, similar stiffness to H&R Sports.

I heard they have some fake Tein springs around so be careful.
