sub isnt working?

ey guys, how's it going? .. Well i got my self into a dilemna, meaning my Sub is not working, earlier today it was, then it all of a sudden stopped? now i checked if sub was blown and is not, But i bought the box used and someone did a shitty ass wiring job from the box out to the slots where the wires connect into yur amp to your sub? im very confused i have no idea wat to do. As I'm not an expert with car audio.. Thanks guys please help a brother out ciao

sounds like your amp shorted out. check your inline fuse or fuses on the amp if any.

It could be anything... but i'd check the wiring inside the box that connects the sub to the terminal on the inside of the box... sometimes it comes loose. Also check all your connections, eg. ground, power, remote wire, and speaker wire....

pm me if you're not sure which wires those are

^^ I was gonna say the same thing Pri...about checking the connections especially the ground .....smart minds think alike...:yeah:

same thing happened to me...check all of the above things that pri talked about and check the amp. in my case it was my amp. check the wires the capacitor and the amp. if the sub works with another amp
