steering wheel problem PICS
 

Just got my wheel and i noticed there is only 1 wire that comes from the horn, and its soldered to the gold ring. how to i attatch my wire from my steering wheel to this wheel..

if im not mistaken, have you even removed the stock hub setup?? you momo hub or whatever it is replaces that. you dont just remove the steering wheel, you have to remove the rest too. it should be like a direct replacement.

we`ll check it out when u guys come over for the swap

If you take apart your stock set up there should be a little gold tab that will be sticking out so when you put all your aftermarket ---- on itll be constantly touching so when you click you hour itll just make a complete circuit and beep :D

exactly, when you take off the stock wheel and stuff you should see it, ill take mine off latter today and snap some pics if you wana see

its madd easy dude, all it is, depending on what your hub is like, mines 6 little allen key screws and then the middle bolt holding on the wheel\hub what ever you wana call it, seriously take like 10 mins to install lol

Right in the middle, like when you take off the stock wheel, theres that big bold right in the middle

its just COMMON SENSE. i find this is rare these day lol. if you take a minute to inspect what you got, and try to just see how it may all work together, then is flipping easy. if you took it off, put it on the way it came off. these things are a breeze and if not, look on google for a diy. theres tons.

this is the wrong hub though. thats my problem.

EngineLand is giving me a DA hub on tuesday.

So overdose they are gonna you another hub if you return they old one. And how you know 100% that one won't fit. When you do the swap we will get it done it must be easy.

but just incase hes wrong. and i do switch it at engineland. what if engineland gives me a wrong hub and this one was right all along lmao.

im in toronto at my boiz house till the 22nd...so i have until the 22nd to findout if this hub is the right one.

How did he determin that the hub you have is not the right one? The hub I have on now is off a civic, it works fine. The only thing that could possibly be wrong is the location from the ring on the back. Since the hub I have didn't come with it (well it did but it was broken) I don't use it. The only thing that does matter is the teeth count in the centre of the hub. Now even if the ring isn't in the exact location, that piece of metal its supposed to touch, is very flexible and easy to bend.
If my memory doesn't lie or get mixed up with other wheels, there are 2 screws from the bottom (maybe sides) take those out (or you can just rip the cover off in the center) and the cover will come off. You will see a 19mm (i think) bolt in the centre, get a ratchet with an extension and take the bolt out. One it comes out the steering wheel will slide off the column. You will see that metal connector on the left side of the column. That little gold piece will have to touch the ring on your hub. Put the hub on and tighten that same 19mm bolt. Then put the wheel on. For the horn to work, the wire from the button will have to touch the metal ring on the hub also. Other than that, its one of the easiest things to do.

Btw, when you do this, make sure your wheels are straight so when you put the new wheel on, it will be in original spot.

lol @ airbags. i removed every airbag with battery connected, even acc on cuz i was listening to music lol.
