So I just came home and when I turned the steering wheel it's making squeaking/rubbing noises (metallic) from the centre point left and right. Seems to be coming from the front driver side wheels. Any help?

Check the bearings at the top and bottom of the steering spindle. If that doesn't work, it should be your steering wheel slip ring...hope that helps.
