staying a bit warmer tip while working on your teg in the cold
Hey guys
heres a small tip that will keep you a bit warmer in the cold while working on your teg. Not sure about you but I hate wearing gloves, and our shop can be cold as hell sometimes. After a few mins of handling cold tools I start to freeze. So I went out to wall-mart and got a heat blanket from there bedding department. Plug it in and set the tools I need for the job on it while working, Its not super warm but it help a lot. Im sure they have more high tech heat pads out there just for tools, but this is a cheaper way to stay a bit warmer, I got the blanket on sale for 24.99 try it and let me know what you think, if you have any other tips let me know thanks nothing suck more then having freezing hands and slipping off a bolt smashing your hand on something on your car. |
Great tip get it in a garage with a space heater. That always works for me but if you don't have the space to do it in a garage and have to resort to outside...well I don't really know lay out some carpet while on the ground...blanket is a good idea never thought of that.
