Starting Up Issue
I have noticed that when I start my Integra in the morning, it takes a bit longer than usual, probably about 2 seconds. If I was recently driving and parked for an hour or so and come back then I will be able to start right away with no delay. What could be the problem, I have recently changed to spark plugs to see if this would solve the problem but it did not. Any input is appreciated.
P.S. I was thinking it could be the starter but the thing is it does not happen every time I try and start. |
Your engine is still cold, and has been sitting for an ample amount of time. This is perfectly normal; your engine will always start much quicker when it has been thoroughly warmed.
If its taking an excessive amount of time, then check your battery's CCA. |
Also as the car sits, it slowly lose fuel pressure in the lines.
