Springs or Balljoints

Wen I drive really slow under 10 km...I hear a clicking sound but its not consistent. When I am parked, I turn the wheel left to right and i hear squicking BUT I go outside and turn the wheel and NO squicking...
ALSO...i kicked all the wheels and the rear driver side...makes a semi clicking nose....

Whats your 2 cents?....

my balljoint for the clicking sound when driving slow

and when I move the steering left to right while parked and IN the car squicks is for the springs??

and whats the clicking nose when I kick the rear driver wheel?

THIS all happened today and it was raining....

1997 rs....I believe everything is still original with the springs...I changed one balljoing but on the passenger...

jack the car up, grab the wheel with two hands and try moving it side to side. if it moves around/feels loose its your balljoint. also can just simply look at the join for any rips/tears

i have the same problem, whenever i take off from a stop i hear a clicking noise. i believe it is the balljoints. does anyone know a good cheap shop where i can get this done.

It actually makes more noice when i turn left to right slightly. I am thinking it is a CV joint.... what do you guys think?...how muhc would cv joint go for?..

All we can do is guess, it could be a number of things. Bring it to a mechanic, they will check it out for you and tell you exactly what's wrong.
I know a good shop in etobicoke, low prices/good guys. If anybody is interested pm me, ill send you all the info.

If you have the front wheels off the ground, going side to side will not tell you if the ball joints are gone, that will only tell you if the inner or outer tie rods are gone. going up and down tells you if you ball joins are gone, but it's hard to tell be doing it that way. The best way is to get a big pair of channel locks and then you squeeze the ball joint, if there is movement, then you need new one, as there should be none in them. As for the clicking noise, that is most likely you C/V shaft that is making that noise.
