sports or streets?

I'm still debating whether to go with omni-power sports 12k/10k or streets 10k/8k. I'lll be ordering them next week and im looking for a pretty stiff setup. The roads I'm normally on are good, and I wouldn't mind bringing the teg to the track a few times this year.
I'm leaning to the sport setup and putting the 10k up front and the 12k on the back.

suggestions?

ask vince aka vinceTEC he has the omni's on his car right now, he saids they are stiff which is what you like....i was looking at omni's myself..but low on cash but for the price even tho its only height adjustable its still a good deal.....we'll there is where the suspension guru's come in...lol p.s what are you riding on right now?..i seen ur car at the official meet looked alrite height..

Street's for the street are really good.

Unless your going to do some sort of event. I'd stay with the street. The sports will be stiff for just daily driving. Also by putting the the 12k to the rear, it will be a totally different car. Oversteer wise, but I'm sure you already know that.

Depends on what you like more - comfortable street ride or stellar track performance. Agree with 12K rears - stiffer in the rear (SHUT IT!) is better for handling. 10/12K is bumpy but liveable with stock seats. But passengers will still complain. Personally, I'd go with the stiffest setup you can stand - the question is what can you stand? Drive in someone's car with a similar setup and see if you like it. I'm really impressed with the quality of the Omni for the price. Dave Pratte tested a set of 10/12s at Pro Track and was only a tenth of a second slower than his Tein HAs which are considerably more expensive.

I have never really been in another integra with stiff suspension so i can't really compare. Only in my buddies gti with 400lbs/500lbs which wasn't harsh at all.

I'm on stock shocks with H&R sport springs, and blown lca bushings...not a fun ride.

The Sport is good for the track, but if you don't plan on taking it to the track stick with the street's. In the end there's only so far you can push either suspend on the street safety.

It seems like there's no middle ground... I heard people on H-T complaining that the streets began to soften up a bit after a couple months, and then there are the people who complain about the constant stiffness of the sport.

I've had the sports on my car for about 2 months now and I must say... i'm really impressed the the construction and handling of the omni's, especially for the price. I LOVE a stiff suspension setup, but with my 17"s and bouncy stock seats... it's starting to get on my nerves haha. It really depends on how long you can handle it. If you're running 16"s with 205/45's then don't worry... it won't really be too bad. I was riding in my friend's 93 Civic coupe with the sports and the ride was beautiful.

Another big thing for me is that my car is a 4 door, so I feel SO bad for my passengers hahaha. I hate watching them bounce up and down in the back and it makes the ride that much more annoying for me too. I think if I still had my Civic hatch, I would be completely satisfied with the sports... cause that was my "race" car haha.

Think that clinched it right there for me. I'm on 15's with a big side wall, so i figured they would ride alright.
Where did you get yours from? optionjdm.com has theirs for $963 with taxes.

Yup... OptionJDM is the place

They're the Canadian distributor for Omni so you can't go wrong haha.

If you're interested, i'm taking of fmy sports very soon. I have a possible buyer at $800, but for all I know he'll back out on me by the time I take them off. Let me know if you're interested and i'll keep you in mind.
