spoiler screw holes

i was just wondering, how do you cover up the screw holes the spoiler leaves on your car? i took off the oem spoiler to my rsx and thers four holes in my trunk...:( rain already got in it...

JDM_overdose 02-19-2010 12:10 AM

you can get plugs for them or rubber with tape on it.

or shave the holes

apparently ppl get these plugs from home depot also why would you take it off without plugging the holes???

karupu 02-19-2010 12:45 AM

the premium spoiler looks too ugly, is there no filling or anything like that that i cna get?

buy the plugs the dealer sells them...

oh alright, thanks man theres a dealer near my house too
but theres a reason why dealerships are called stealerships

Don't go to the dealership and get them, just go to parts source and get them. They will be way cheaper, and just tell them you need christmas tree clips. Here's a picture of what they look like.

Spike's right.... just to add to your point though. Use silicon to seal it from the weather outside.

KjB 02-19-2010 04:46 PM

and i got mines from the dealer for like 6 bucks it was around 1$ each i believe

but spike has a good idea/point same with JustinDM and this fix doesn't last forever so keep that in mind
