Spoiler differences (LS/RS/SE/GSR)
 
Is there any difference for the stock spoiler on these cars? Would some not have factory paint?

no. they are all the same. the only different one is the type R

i have another question lol which ones have the light in the spoiler? i know the type r's dont..right?

i have a gs-r with led on the oem spoiler
now if i get a typeR one which has no led on oem does this go against any laws? since i dont have a 3rd brake light now?

^you are suppoed to have a 3rd brakelight and the light in the stock non type R spoilers act as one.

my Ls has a light, all except the type r has no light

Does the Type R have a hatch brake light instead then?

^yes they do, and LS/GS's come with one of those too if they diden't come with a spoiler from the factory. my car has one because it never came with a spoiler.

Dude I posted a similar question in the tech section whether a 3rd brakelight was necessary & turns out its not! :D


Lamps required on all motor vehicles except motorcycles

62. (1) When on a highway at any time from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise and at any other time when, due to insufficient light or unfavourable atmospheric conditions, persons and vehicles on the highway are not clearly discernible at a distance of 150 metres or less, every motor vehicle other than a motorcycle shall carry three lighted lamps in a conspicuous position, one on each side of the front of the vehicle which shall display a white or amber light only, and one on the rear of the vehicle which shall display a red light only. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (1).
