Speedo Noise
 

So apparently my speedo has a weird noise coming from it whenever the car is in motion, and only when relatively cold, otherwise it goes away. Buddy said its from one of the speedo gears or w.e. I wanted to know if its worth opening to fix or should i just install the glow gauges that the guy gave me with the car. I want an original look to the car but if its not fixable then w.e, wanted to hear ure opinions on it.

it's the speedo cable. you gotta pull out the wire inside, grease it up and re-insert

so im pretty much going to have to open up the cluster right?

I had the same problem with my speedo cable a while back. I greased the end of the speedo cable where it goes into the transmission, and behind the cluster. If that doesn't stop the noise, you'll need a new speedo cable.
