Spark Plug Question
I spoke with my mechanic today regarding a tune up that i need done next week. I was talking to him about the spark plugs to put. He told me to get OEM platinum ones from Honda. They are like $17.99 or something each. I told him about the NGK ones and he is like you can get them as well but why not OEM.
i just wanted to know the difference between getting either one. Whats the benifits of having OEM rather than NGK ones? What would be better? Why? i found another thread that lightly talked about it but didnt compare the 2. just said that OEM is what that person prefers...not outlined why. so your help is appreciated. thanks |

I thought NGK was OEM,I think He's trying to pull the wool over your eyes.I've had my NGK's in for 70,000 Kms and their still good but I'm gonna change them now.Been too long.
