Sound Problem

My cousin has a 99' Integra.

She has it over here, and her speakers in the back aern't working. Their not blown, because they checked out the wiring, and it's all back there.

They touched wires together, and they started to work, then stopped, and now aern't working at all.

What's going on?

check the wires from the harness behind your deck... also if its anything like what mine was doing, the deck itself could have blown a resistor or mosfet and sound to that channel is now not possible or it comes on and off depending on how badly damaged the semiconducter is. Try putting in your deck in her DC and see if that helps, if it does then there is ure problem.

^^Ditto, test the speakers by swapping the deck. I have that problem right now where there is very little power going to the rear passenger speaker. I just have to buy a new deck now...

No deck to swap with lol

Any other way?

If you can't swap decks, swap speakers.

Do you know how to use a multimeter? I assume not, since you're a girl......

I would assume there is butcher wiring on the harness.

^ thats exactly the same problem i was facing too, last owner made mince-meat out of my harness....
