small problem, CEL light and low idle/stalls
 

1992 da.. idle is very very low and drops and the CEL light turns on adn idles at 1200. did this for a couple days.. now when cel light is on the idle drops really really low then dies/stalls. ive cleaned the facv/iacv, ive played with teh spring too and it still drops.. possibilities anyone?

when the cel comes on check and see what code its throwing and it will direct u to whats causing the problem.

well before i take it to a shop and get it diagnosed i just wanna know maybe some possibilities so i can try it out and avoid the CEL diagnostic fee, plus a wierd drive to the shop where i have to keep revving up the motor so it doesnt die. any ideas ppl?

you can check the code yourself. just jump/short the 2 pin connector by the ecu at the right side of the glove box and reae the blinking SES light to get the codes.

okay boys ive done that before but i am having a hard time decyphering the code.. with out the the connector jumped, it goes 1 time for a long time.. with it jumped the CEL stays on... anyone know whats going on?
