Short Shifter
 

I have a B&M short shifter, with poly urethane bushings. in higher RPMS while driving, ---- rattles like crazy, and its really annoying. i've tightened the bolt underneath with an impact. and it still rattles from above. Any ideas as to why?

mine did it too so i bought this one http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...cat=15&pid=370 . problem solved. the socket where the pivot ball is worn so now it has some play to it. this shifter eliminates the factory pivot ball socket.

/\ its going on ebay for about 170..pretty pricey...however I too have the B&M shifter you previously had and am experience a bit of idling here and there.

i got mine for $70 :D
a heavy shift knob probably won't help the situation either. try putting on your stock one.

im using stock. i figured the idiot who installed it did it wrong.

did you buy it used? where can i get one for 70 bucks? :laugh1:

^^it was BNIB but the guy wasn't gonna use it. i found in the for sale section. :D
