Default Shaved Door Handle Kit

Has anyone had any experience in this? Is it hard, easy? Any tips would be apreciated. Also how hard is it to do a Cable to a Hydro transmission swap? Thanks.

You will need:
-transmission
-if your car is 91 or older you will need a clutch
- slave cylinder with the lines.
-clutch master cylinder with reservoir
-clutch pedal assembly (since cable hooks up to the pedal where as hydro is different)

I believe the linkage can stay. Will also have to rewire vss somehow since DA integras had a cable running from the transmission right into the cluster. Later models with hydro transmissions had the sensor in the transmission and speed was fed through the harness and into the cluster.

Why are you trying to go to hydro rather than cable? The cable gsr gear sets were short and actually cheaper than hydro transmissions, that's if the gearing is the issue. Moreover I believe other than clutch engagement its pretty much same thing, so if I recall correctly, you can swap hydro trans gears into cable housing.

Ya that seems a bit to much work. The only reason was I found a hydro transmission for cheap but all that work isnt really worth it just to save a couple bucks. Thanks for the info.
