b18 to b20 swap.. need quick reply
I swapped a 1997 b20 into my 1996 integra, and there is no crankshaft position sensor. What is the fix for this? is it something to do with splicing a wire in the ecu? Thanks

b20b doesnt have the sensor at all...the ls motor does...its right next to the crank pully...and the year can be located in a little circle right beneath the valve cover in the middle front...get a jumper harness and obd1 ls ecu and u wont have to worry about the crank sensor. Hope this helps you.

I believe what Paul meant was, obd1 ecus do NOT use the crank position sensor. Thus by getting a jumper harness to use obd1 ecu will eliminate the need for it. You will need to run obd1 ecu regardless if you want the engine to run properly. Since crv ecu does not work in an integra, you end up with either integra ecu which is "ok" for time being but the engine will not perform to its full potential, or you get an obd1 ecu, chip it and get b20 software on it. Most places will charge about 20$ for software if you already have an obd1 socketed ecu.
Hope that helps.

There are many places three that I know of would be Engineland, Defcon, Art motorsport.
Engineland quoted me i think it was $100-150 for labour and parts.
