rwd conversion

does anyone know how much work/time/cost it would be to set up a jdm b18c5/h22a to rwd on a 97 teg rs? i need feedback as to whether i should continue with this plan or just get myself a rwd to save myself the trouble

you need a CRV as a doner
and you would go AWD
lots of work but it has been done

good luck

Not worth the time or money. Just buy yourself a RWD car and you'll be a lot happier.

its been done on a few occasions, as well there is a guy on team-integra who has a rear engine h22a rwd integra. its impressive, he fabricated everything himself and it turned ouit very nice.

Now i noticed before that one year a certain model integra came in AWD in japan. Has anyone ever done that swap over here?

Too much time and money

thanks guys, i been researching this for a while and with the aim at making a highly modified drift car im better off with a 240sx as to the limit of money i can spend on the project. hopefully i'll have time and money for a rwd jdm teg in the future to try this out on.

look for a thread on honda-tech in the hybrid forum regarding the rwd, rear engine h22 powered integra. a lot of work. i'd like to make my crx rwd, but keeping it still front engine. i think that may even be more work but i think it would be a more stock appearance.
