cheaper price than what?

While I can't help you out on the question, let me stress the importance of replacing those ASAP if they're a hazard, especially of you know of an impending problem.

I've had brakes fail altogether on me as a result of this. Not fun.

Hey Glen, im pretty sure you can go to any parts store and get some steel tubing. unless Acura can still get those lines for you. Im pretty sure they can cause y old 98 civic had bad lines and i replaced them with OEM units.

call me anytime

I know my work charges $100 for each line, but that is parts and labor, and I have done them a few times in teg, they are not fun, you need to unbolt the back of the front sub-frame.

well depending how bad it is that is if your able to cut the rusted section out that would leave you with a good section of tubing you can cut it there and get a double flaring tool then just splice the section you cut out

either way if the whole thing is bad you can buy a roll of metal tubing (actually they usually come in sections with the ends already flared but youll probably still have to cut it) some ends and couplings get a double flaring tool, buy a tube bender

should be cheaper and less hassle than OEM lines also for me i usually just return the tools after im finished using them lol youll also need a tube cutter like for copper pipe in plumbing

but since you said your a noob id recommend just taking it to a mechanic 100 bux a line dosnt seem too bad

hi acura still sell the lines for the teg the like 80-100 a line but if there the rear lines you might be also replacing/repairing fuel lines aswell if you desturbe them. but if your new at this there a p.i.t.a to do .
