RSX seats don't fit in RSX
Ok here is my issue I bought some RSX seats for my friend's boss to replace his old beat up RSX seats. On the add it said it was from a 2005 rsx type S. When I went to the guy he mentioned he had them in his civic at one point. Because the add said it was from a RSX I didn't think to check the rails after I was told it was in the civic. Now the rails have some sort of welding and added material from what my friend has told me. My question is how do I fix it so it will fit a RSX again. I was thinking using the existing rails that are in his car and swap them over, but I don't know how much work that would take. Any other options or feed back you guys can think of?

Best bet is to swap the stock rsx rails since the guy already welded the and played with the old ones. goodluck

you will have to swap the rsx rail back to the seats.

Does anyone know how to actually remove the rails I have the seats in front of me but I am very puzzled.
|
there are some write ups on g2ic and online about people swaping rsx seat rails...

I took of the bottom cushion of the seat and saw that the rsx seats don't have bolts to unbolt the pan or even the rails. What I am going to do is just switch the bottom cushion of these seats with the ones in my bosses original seat because that is the part that had a hole in it.

Update. So I put the seats into my friend's boss's RSX today. So everything is a done deal. Thank you again everyone.

Have you gotten a raise yet? :D
