Restoring Rims..

So i have been recently on the hunt for some GS-R blades and found these, the person selling them says that they are just dirty from storage. The pics of the rims show no real damage and just look like they need some "mothers" love. So could anyone give me some ideas if this is all these rims really need or is their more to it that i could be not seeing? also is their any way to check for a bent rim without a tire balancer? I plan on going to see the rims and taking some polish and giving them a test, any other test i should do?

well in order to see if your rim is bent would be just to scan the outside i doubt they are bent right in the middle but if thats the case only way you'd be able to see was if the tire was off or using a balancer. as for the rims they look in great shape you would just have to polish them and they should look good as new. good luck.

Yup, just a bit of polish and some cleaner. Just check that there's no visible damage and nothing looks out of the ordinary.

You need a balancer, or you just put them on your car and then you will be able to tell if they are bent or not.

ya i'll be sure to thoroughly check them when i see them, i figured the only way to check for bends is to mount them or balance them which sucks because i cant do that
